Kris Aquino shows effect of autoimmune thyroiditis on her physical appearance

In a rare instance, Queen of All Media Kris Aquino talked about her current health condition.

Kris shared how the disease affected her on a daily basis.

"I’ll point it out, my left eyeball is much bigger & protrudes more visibly than my right," Aquino wrote on Instagram with her selfie.

Kris said that it is an indication that her autoimmune thyroiditis is acting up.

"I can’t do vigorous exercises but I read up on a few breathing & morning meditation I can try while working myself up to going back to a regular yoga practice," she said as she teased about preparing for something.

According to Mayo Clinic, it is a condition in which the immune system attacks thyroid, a small gland at the base of the neck below Adam's apple.

Few years ago, Kris talked about her chronic spontaneous urticaria following her drastic weight loss that alarmed many of her fans.

Kris went emotional as she noted the diagnosis would affect the rest of her existence.

“I am now, and for the rest of my existence will be, on high dosage antihistamines and having the EpiPen will always be crucial. Severe allergies are life threatening because of anaphylactic shock," she said.
