Hwang In Youp of 'True Beauty' studied in the Philippines

K-Drama fans all over the Philippines are buzzing over recent discoveries about a man named Ryan Leon. Apparently, this so-called Ryan Leon is Hwang In Youp from the currently running Korean Drama True Beauty.

Not only was he a graduate of Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School in Davao, but he was also hailed Mr. Intrams of 2008. He also once dreamed of becoming a fashion designer.

When he still lived in the city of Davao, Hwang In Yeop went by his english name Ryan Leon. He was also the tallest student in class at 185 centimeters (a bit over six feet tall). His former teachers and classmates confirmed the news, after his pictures circulated online.

We’ve all heard about IU learning English in the Philippines, Sandara Park being our Pambansang Krung-krung, and Hwang In Yeop being a sporty student who hails from Davao.
