Ogie Diaz backs Toni Gonzaga's appeal to stop bashing evicted housemate Russu Laurente

TV host-talent manager Ogie Diaz has expressed support to the appeal of Pinoy Big Brother host Toni Gonzaga-Soriano to stop bashing evicted "PBB" housemate Russu Laurente who earlier supported the shutdown of ABS-CBN.

"Hindi dapat jina-judge lalo na kung 'yung tao ay inamin ang kanyang kasalanan at humingi na ng kapatawaran. Sino tayo para mag malinis, wala ba rin tayong kasalanan?" Ogie said.

Diaz said that he feels sorry for the 19-year-old "Bunsong Boksingero of General Santos City" that he had to go through such bashing.

"Naawa ako sa bata in a sense na very apologetic naman 'yung bata. Humingi na ng tawad at na realize kung gaano kamali ang kanyang ginawa na mag yes to shutdown. Hindi niya na realize na 11,000 employees ang nawalan ng trabaho. 'Di niya na realize 'yung katotohanan na kailangang kailangan pala ang ABS-CBN. Sumakay lang daw siya sa agos kaya nag yes to shutdown," he said.

But the 51-year-old said that there are always consequences in everything that people do.

"Anyway, siyempre hindi naman tayo dapat quick to judge. Kaya ako naawa ako dito kay Russu pero kung ako, bumibilib na rin ako kay Russu kasi tinanggap na niya na siya'y mali at nakapagpabago ng kanyang konsepto na mali pala 'yun na dapat sumabay ka lang sa agos dahil yun ang uso," he said.
