Inside the minds of 'Tawag Ng Tanghalan' judges

Planning to join "Tawag Ng Tanghalan" in the future? Here are some pointers about what the current judges: Karylle, Rey Valera and Randy Santiago are looking for in the next "Big Winner."

The judges talked about their thoughts on the contestants and finalists in "Tawag Ng Tanghalan: Ang Huling Tapatan Online Media Conference" last Saturday, Jan. 30.

Karylle: "Siguro dahil pandemya ngayon, mas nagiging benefit siguro kung iba yung fighting spirit ng tao. Yung mga 'fighters' yung mas nananaig at nakikita natin yung 'can do' attitude nila di t alaga sila magpapatalo.

"Pero yung sa mga 'attitude problem' wala naman yun kasi it's really about the performance on-stage. Bahala na sila kung paano nila gagamitin yung attitude nila to bring their best performance on-stage."

Randy: "Di naman namin makikita yung attitude sa likod ng mga contestants natin, at the end of the day ang tinitignan po antin ay yung boses at yung galing po talaga."

Rey Valera: "Pinipilit 'kong hindi ma-attach in a sense kasi titignan talaga namin yung galing talaga. Pero alam mo ba kung saan ako nadadale? kapag may nago-gong talaga, 'nao-ospital ako,' dinadala ko yun, dahil hindi ko man siya kialla. Alam 'kong nakasakit ako ng tao eh. Pagpasensiyahan niyo na ako ah."
