Janice de Belen posts throwback snap with Julie Vega

Janice de Belen believes she and Julie Vega would have done many films.

Actress Janice de Belen may have missed her good friend actress Julie Vega when she posted a throwback photo while sharing the "what ifs" in her mind, in a post on Instagram recently.

Janice captioned the photo: "IF JULIE WERE HERE WE WOULD HAVE DONE MORE PROJECTS TOGETHER, THIS WE DID WHEN WE'RE YOUNGER."

"Fans and other stars were touched by the post, including Candy Pangilinan and Ms. Lea Salonga who commented: "Ohhhhhh, my heart!!!"

Both Janice and Julie are big names back in the 80s starring on different films and TV roles. They became big stars when their respective teleseryes pitted against each other.

Janice played "Flor De Luna" while Julie portrayed "Anna Liza" on the rival network.

But unlike Janice who is still here with us, Julie died at a young age of 16 on May 6, 1985, weeks after she filmed her last film, "Lovingly Yours, Helen: The Movie" where she played the role of a young girl possessed by evil spirits in a segment dubbed “Akin Ang Walang Diyos.”
