Big names set to join Women's Invitational

Woman International Masters Jan Jodilyn Fronda, Catherine Secopito and Kylen Joy Mordido banner the list of players taking center stage in the Women’s Invitational elimination tournament on Feb. 7 via lichess.org.

Organized by the Bayanihan Chess Club in coordination with the United Queens Chess Club and Cabuyao City Chess Club, the event stakes P25,000 total prize pot.

The winner will advance to the finals on Feb. 14.

Also invited to compete are WIM Bernadette Galas, Woman FIDE Masters Cherry Ann Mejia and Allaney Jia Doroy, Woman National Masters Jerlyn Mae San Diego and Francois Marie Magpily, Christy Lamiel Bernales, Rowelyn Joy Acedo, Alexandra Sydney Paez and Antonella Berthe Racasa.

A time control of three (3) minutes plus two (2) seconds increment will be applied via Swiss System format.
