Binibini Samantha Bernardo joins David Beckham in fight vs malaria

Binibining Pilipinas 2020 front-runner Samantha Bernardo has joined football superstar David Beckham in the campaign to stop malaria around the world.

"Malaria must die. So millions can live. ? I'm super honored to be part of this world movement with David Beckham and Malaria Must Die as your Malaria Free Philippines Spokesperson, ??" said Bernardo on Facebook January 26.

Bernardo has actively campaigned for the Philippines to be free from malaria by 2030.

The beauty queen from Palawan encouraged Filipinos to help in the campaign against the disease.

Bernardo, 25, is one of 40 official candidates of Bb. Pilipinas 2020 pageant which will be held on April 17.
