Janine Gutierrez makes her 'ASAP Natin 'To' debut

Award-winning actress Janine Gutierrez immediately made her presence known in a stunning red gown as the newest host of the longest-running Sunday noontime variety show "ASAP Natin 'To" now simulcast on TV5.

On Sunday, Jan. 24, Gutierrez was welcomed with pre-recorded video greetings from her family and friends congratulating her on a "new chapter" for her career.

Among those who extended their greetings are her parents Lotlot de Leon and Ramon Christopher, grandparaents Pilita Corales, Christopher de Leon and her brother Diego.

Gutierrez expressed her excitement for the things to come in her new network, saying: "I'm so happy to be here with all of you. Thank you so much for the warm Kapamilya Welcome.

"I'm so grateful and honored na kayo pa ang kasama ko dito sa first time ko sa 'ASAP Stage' thank you so much." she ended.

She performed the song "Panaginip" alongside Martin Nievera, Gary Valenciano and Ogie Alcasid.

The "Babae at Baril" actress expressed her joy on Twitter right after her performance wherein she admitted that she became nervous knowing that her grandmother, Pilita Corales, is among the Philippine music industry's icon.

"To sing with Sir Gary, Sir Martin and Sir Ogie!! Nanginig po talaga yung cheeks ko at nagdasal ako na maitaguyod ang bandera ni mamita," she wrote.
