LOOK: PJ Simon, wife Jehza Huelar in fun basketball-themed maternity shoot

Retired PBA star PJ Simon and wife Jehza Mae Huelar happily welcomed 2021 with the announcement of their baby boy.

The question is: Will he follow his father's footsteps as a basketball player?

Basketball was the theme of Huelar's maternity shoot as seen on her Instagram post Thursday.

The couple was all smiles while holding hands during the photoshoot as Simon, dressed in classic Purefoods jersey, holds a basketball while a basketball-design was painted all over Huelar's baby bump.

The next photo shows Simon seemingly carrying the basketball baby bump.

"Which 'ball' is for basketball? What a fun, care-free maternity shoot," wrote the 2018 Binibining Pilipinas-Supranational winner in her reshared Instagram post by Rated Love Photography.

Simon, who had spent 17 years in the PBA with the Magnolia franchise, bid farewell from the game last September.

Simon and Huelar tied the knot in May 2019.
