Why Andi and Philmar named their baby boy Koa

After Andi Eigenmann's post of their first family photo with partner Philmar and their newborn baby, Andi didn't want any much longer to share the name of their baby boy.

"And just like that, my heart has grown even bigger once more. On the 17th day of January, 2021 at 10:09am, we welcomed the newest member of our family. Hello world! Meet our little island boy, Koa," shares Andi.

It didn't come as a surprise that the couple chose a name of Haiwaiian origins. Since they named their daughter Lilo which means "generous one," it was but natural that they named their baby boy Koa which means "warrior, brave one."

Philmar also posted another photo in his Instagram account with the caption, "Me happy island boy, Koa Eigenmann Alipayo," he continues. "I’m over the moon to have you in my life, 'nak! So happy and excited to welcome you in our family. Also so happy to have another boy in our family to help me love and take care of the girls."

Welcome to the world, Koa!
