Two new housemates welcomed on 'PBB Connect'

Filipino-Americans Quincy Villanueva (Ang Brainy Balikbayan ng Laguna) and Gail Balawis (Ang Sing-Ternational Survivor ng New York) were introduced during last night’s episode as the housemates chosen by the KUMUnity.

Quincy entered the "PBB"’ house, while Gail is still in quarantine after beating COVID-19.

Quincy moved to Los Angeles with her family when she was young, but has returned to the Philippines to start a new life. In L.A., Quincy strived hard in her studies, resulting to her attaining a degree in Biology from the University of Southern California (USC). The "Brainy Balikbayan ng Laguna" also worked in a biotechnology company and as a teller prior to becoming an official housemate.

On the other hand, true blue New Yorker Gail experienced bullying from her peers. Although she dealt with challenges as a teenager, this did not hinder her from realizing her dream to be a singer. In fact, she was able to perform “Lupang Hinirang” during the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight in 2015. Besides singing, the ‘Sing-Ternational Survivor ng New York’ is also a songwriter and podcaster.

They entered the "Bahay Ni Kuya" after Crismar Menchavez left the ‘PBB’ house as the latest evictee last January 17.

Menchavez, the "Military Son ng Palawan," ended his "PBB" journey last night after getting only 2.60 percent of combined text and KUMUnity votes. Viewers meanwhile chose to save Ella (12.94 percent of votes), Aizyl (7.47 percent of votes), and Alyssa (3.29 percent of votes).

Meanwhile, “PBB” viewers are up for an exciting weekend as “PBB Connect” hosts a global fancon this Saturday (January 23, 11 pm Manila, 3 pm UK, 7 pm Dubai). The virtual fancon will feature all “PBB Connect” hosts with “PBB” Season 8 housemates Akie Poblete at Gabby Sarmiento. It will be available on iWantTFC (Facebook and YouTube), KapamilyaTFC (Facebook), ABS-CBN Online (YouTube), TFC Middle East (Facebook), TFC Europe (Facebook), and ABS-CBN (Facebook).

Will Quincy be able to connect with the housemates as they deal with a new weekly task? When will Gail join the housemates? Which housemates will be up for eviction?

Find out on “PBB Connect” from Monday to Saturday at 10 pm on A2Z channel 11, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, and ABS-CBN Entertainment Channel. Join Bianca at Robi on “PBB KUMUnect Tayo Primetime” at 10 pm (Mon-Sat) and 8:30 pm (Sunday), as well as Melai and Enchong on “PBB KUMUnect Tayo: The Afternoon Show” at 5 pm on the PBB Kumu account (https://app.kumu.ph/PBBabscbn).
