Jomari Yllana answers former partner's allegations over unpaid electric bills

Paranaque Councilor Jomari Yllana has denied allegations he doesn't give financial assistance to his former partner and mother of his children.

Few days ago, Joy Reyes complained about Jomari not helping her pay the P100,000 electric bill.

But in an article published on PEP.Ph, Jomari said he already settled the bills on electricity.

“Well, Meralco, actually unang reaction ko, hindi naman ako naniniwala talaga. So, I had to check kung totoo kasi ano naman kami, e, minsan may mga konting delays dahil sa pandemic. And then, I pay for everything naman. Lahat naman ng bill ng kuryente, never naman sila nagbayad," he said.

Jomari said he just couldn't believe that the electricity bill had blown up.

“Although 'yung sa akin lang, hindi talaga ako naniniwala kasi, unang-una, paano naman nakapag-post, phone, internet? Eh, pati naman internet diyan, ako nagbabayad. So, bakit may internet?

"So, pina-check ko. Nu'ng pina-check ko, chineck ng staff ko on a Saturday (Jan. 16), na-check, confirmed nga, naputulan nga. Chineck namin 'yung bill, so P100,000 'yun. Huling payment ko September. Eh, di naka-consume siya ng P33,000 a month?"

Jomari appealed to Joy not to use social media in exposing the problems of the family.

"Ang message ko lang sa kanya, yung buong pamilya ko, pinakisamahan naman namin siya, e. Ni isang beses, hindi siya nakarinig ng hindi maganda tungkol sa sarili niya, wala siyang naririnig na hindi maganda. Buong pamilya ko, tinanggap siya. Dati, buong pamilya ko, tinanggap siya nang buong-buo. Pinakisamahan siya. And my family loved her, for what’s it’s worth, yung panahon na maayos pa kami. Pero, utang na loob, wala namang siraan."

"Ako na nagbabayad ng bahay, 'yung food nila, 'yung vitamins ng babies, clothes. Kumbaga, food, shelter, and clothing. 'Tapos malaman-laman namin, 'yung gatas ng anak ko, ibinibenta online?," he shared, noting he has proof to show.

“I am paying some amount of money every month for the shelter of my children."
