The final showdown: SNL vs. ASAP Natin' To battle for No. 1 trending spot

At an age where entertainment comes from various multimedia outlets, ASAP Natin 'To held its ground to be one, if not the best, longest-running Sunday noon time program in the country, but the "new kid in town" Sunday Noon Time Live (SNL) proved  to be a worthy contender.

But today's episode of both ASAP and SNL paved the way for two of the country's rising boy groups: The Juans and the Pinoy Pop phenom SB19.

Still, as the time changes, there are talented celebrities who are proving everyone that they are timeless. Philippine entertainment icons such as Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, Martin Nievera, Gary V, Bamboo, Sarah Geronimo, Moira De la Torre, Darren Espanto, Kim Chiu and more from ASAP Natin 'to proved to be high-calibre performers, leaving their viewers with some jaw-dropping performances.

The show's highlight was The Juans as they performed "Pangalawang Bitaw" as well as other OPM hits with Erik Santos, Nyoy Volante, Jed Madella and Jason Dy.

All in all, ASAP Natin' To peaked with over 25,000 tweets with the hashtag #TheJuansASAPNatinTo.

On the other hand, SNL have a stellar group filled with stars that is sure to captivate every age group, from Maris Racal, Ricci Rivero, Piolo Pascual, Maja Salvador, Catriona Gray and singers Sam Mangubat, Zephanie Dimaranan, Fatima Lagueras and more to keep you hooked on your TV's or mobile devices with some show-stopping numbers.

Meanwhile, the "A'TIN" fan base was all-out in supporting SB19 boys Justin, Sejun, Stell, Ken and Josh as they lit up the SNL stage one final time with their performance of their hit song "Hanggang Sa Huli."

SB19's song, as well as Jake Ejercito's final tweet for the episode, pretty much summed up today's episode. His tweet reads: "The ride was short, but definitely sweet! Maraming salamat sa pagsama, Team Live! ‘Til we party again."

SNL smoked the competition peaking at over 161,000 tweets with the hashtag #SB19onSNL.
