Paquito, the hero inspired by legendary Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao, has finally arrived in the original server of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang on Friday. 

More players can now enjoy the Fighter type hero who boasts of physical burst abilities along with a passive that resets and enhances his skills. 

Game developer Moonton made Paquito as the first hero in Mobile Legends history with Tagalog voice lines. 

"Ang lakas ng loob, walang kinakatakutan at determinasyon ang mga pangunahing katangian ni Paquito," Moonton said in its official announcement through its Facebook page. 

"Siya ang magmamana ng kapangyarihan ng pananampalataya ni Pacquiao at magdadala ng bagong pag-asa sa Land of Dawn!" it added. 
Like the real-life eight-division world champion Pacquiao, Paquito is depicted in the game as "the people's champ". 

According to his in-game story, Paquito is "a man with a peculiar scar across his back and fists of iron" who purged injustice and cruelty in his homeland, earning him the moniker "Heavenly Fist". 

Paquito can be purchased through battle points or diamonds (in-game currencies) with a 30% discount on his debut week. A bundle containing the hero and his first skin is also available with a 35% discount. 

Pacquiao, the lone eight-division champ in boxing history, became an ambassador of the most popular mobile game in the country and arguably in Southeast Asia last November 2020.
