Look: Ara Mina is engaged to Dave Almarinez

On Instagram, Mina posted a photo of her boyfriend Dave Almarinez's proposal to her in Laguna.

"I have received the most perfect gift from God," she wrote. "A prayer I have always been sincerely trusting Him to bring into my life."

Ara thanked her fiance for being her "answered prayer."

"Thank you for not giving up on me. You are the reason why we have stronger days together," she said. "God led us to each other for a greater purpose. Let us both live it with faith and love. Yes, I will marry you!”

The actress shared that Almarinez's surprise made her feel “more loved and cherished.”

"I was totally clueless of what this day would bring," she said.

Almarinez is the president and chief executive officer of the state-run Philippine International Trading Corp., with the rank of undersecretary.
