Laureen Uy flexes her mom's dream-like paintings

We should all have art dates with our parents

Growing up, our parents have always supported our artistic pursuits. They start with those 24-piece crayon boxes, coloring books, art papers, and watercolors for our refrigerator arts, and eventually, to more challenging kinds with bigger canvases and paints. But sometimes the case is different, where the young backs their parents's passion.

Truly, there is no age limit when it comes to learning new things and pursuing art. That is proven by fashion influencer Laureen Uy and her mommy Nenette Uy with their art dates.

It looks like quarantine life has been a creative one for mommy Nenette as she explores her skill when it comes to canvases and paints. According to Laureen, her mom discovered her love for painting last September, since then they’ve been having regular art dates.

By the looks of it, we couldn’t agree more to Laureen that her mom has the gift. Mommy Nenette produced some fantastic abstract and psychedelic art.

“She keeps getting better every day and our art dates are getting more and more intense,” says Laureen.

We can’t wait to see an exhibit by Nenette Uy!
