Caguioa custom-made Funko Pop is surely a gem to collect

A custom-made Funko Pop version of Mark Caguioa got a nod of approval from the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel guard himself.

The former PBA Most Valuable Player shared an Instagram story of the artwork made by a certain Grapiken, who is known by collectors as among those who specializes in making Funko customs.

Grapiken obviously was awed that Caguioa was able to notice his creation.

“Napansin pala ni MC47!” he said on his Facebook page.

The custom figure shows Caguioa with a bald head and trademark headband with the old red Ginebra uniforms he wore from his rookie year in 2001 until his MVP season in 2012.

During that period, Caguioa won four PBA championships and formed a backcourt partnership with good buddy Jayjay Helterbrand.

Funkos are among the popular collectibles, which can be attributed with a chunk of items being sold online and in shopping centers.

It has also led some to use their creativity and make custom Funkos, much to the delight of collectors.
