'Bridgerton' author Julia Quinn asks not fans not to fall for $700 price tag on her books

Bestselling author Julia Quinn is appealing to fans not to fall for merchants who are selling the Bridgerton series for as much as $700 per book. This came after the tremendous success of the Netflix Regency drama.
On her Facebook page, Quinn reposted an article from People indicating that because of the demand brought on by the fans who recently discovered that Bridgertonwas actually based on a book series written by the author, some traders have resorted to selling each book for as much as $768. There were also those who sold complete collections of eight paperback books for $200.
“Seriously, guys, do NOT pay these prices! All the books are being reprinted!,”Quinnappealed to those who wanted to get printed copies of the book series.

Harper Collins, the publisher behind the bestselling series also announced that all eight books are currently available as e-books.

The Netflix adaptation was viewed by 63 million households making it one of the highest rating Netflix original series over the holidays. The second season is expected to focus on the romance between Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Scheffield. All of the Bridgerton siblings have their own books in the eight-part saga.
