Nadine Lustre slams report that she hiked in a bikini

"Wildest Dreams" singer Nadine Lustre didn't like the unverified reports about her recent hike with actor-singer James Reid and their friends, which she made clear on a series of Instagram stories that she uploaded on Saturday, Jan. 9.

The reports said that she traversed the mountains with her friends while wearing a bikini, apparently Nadine was not amused by the report and the netizens who are talking about it.

Nadine also denied that she has a Twitter account.

The actress opposed these gossips by saying: "Di na ba uso fact-checking ngayon? 2021 na o. anuba. (face with tears of joy emoji)"

The singer-actress was disappointed as she pointed out a more newsworthy topic in her Instagram story captioned: "Sana ito na lang yung binalitaâ€¦"

The Kapamilya star explained her side:Â "Ayokong magsuot ng basang shorts kaya nagpatuyo muna ng mga 10 mins ok. Ikaw kaya magsuot ng basang maong habang naghihhike. (Face with rolling eyes emoji)

"I can't believe people really assumed that I hiked in a bikini. (Rolling on the floor laughing emoji) Bala kayo diyan. babalik na ako sa ulap. (Relieved face, cloud emoji)" she added.

She summed up her sentiments with the text: "HAPPY NEW YEAR!"

On Jan. 5, James Reid posted a series of videos and a photo of his hike with Nadine Lustre and their friends, a year after their last documented hike in Mt. Ulap, located in the province of Benguet.

Leaked photos of Nadine Lustre wearing a bikini while on the hiking trail sparked numerous assumptions from both fans and her critics.
