Antipolo City spokesperson Jun Ynares, said that after one of the staff of Villa Herzon Mental Health Center tested positive for COVID-19, the Antipolo City Health Office, on the orders of Mayor Andrea "Andeng" Ynares, immediately conducted a disease investigation in the facility and found out that 10 out of its 31 staff and employees have flu like symptoms such as coughs, colds, throat aches, and body aches.

"Dahil dito, kailangang isailalim sa 14-day granular lockdown ang Villa Herzon Mental Health Center kung saan hindi muna tatanggap ng bisita at hindi magpapalabas ng staff at pasyente, maliban na lang kung kailangan ng medical attention ang staff o pasyente (Because of this, we are placing Villa Herzon Mental Health Center under a 14-day granular lockdown wherein they may accept visitors and staff and patients will not be allowed to go outside, except for emergencies and medical attention needs of staff and patients)," Ynares said.

He added that the local government unit (LGU) has already conducted swab tests on the concerned individuals and food packs and boxes have already been distributed to the facility.

Ynares said that the city government is coordinating with the facility's administrator on patient monitoring.
