Blackwater continued to make changes following a winless campaign in the PBA Philippine Cup Tuesday, Sept. 28 by trading leading scorer Simon Enciso to Terrafirma in exchange for Rashawn McCarthy.

The PBA trade committee approved the one-on-one swap which will see Enciso join his third team since last year and McCarthy going to another team after 4 1/2 seasons with the Dyip franchise.

Enciso, 30, averaged 13.7 points on 37-percent shooting with 2.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists after being acquired from TNT in a three-way trade that also involved NLEX.

But Enciso couldn’t help the Bossing avoid setting a dubious mark of 19 straight losses dating back to last season.

McCarthy posted 9.7 points in 10 games for Terrafirma, which fell short of making the quarters after a 4-7 record.

He became one of the Dyip’s key players after being traded from the San Miguel Beermen before the 2017-18 season.

The deal came more than a week after Blackwater parted ways with coach Nash Racela and hired alternate governor and veteran mentor Ariel Vanguardia as his replacement on an interim basis.

Blackwater also brought back Johnson Martinez as team manager in place of Jacob Munez.
