DAVAO CITY – Davao City First Congressional District Representative Paolo Z. Duterte confirmed that he has been with COVID-19 based on the RT-PCR result released on September 27, Monday.
Rep. Duterte is now in isolation at a hospital in the city, while his family are also under quarantine at their residence. The young congressman was reported to be not manifesting any severe symptoms.
He expresses his thanks to everyone who showed their concern to him and his family.
Rep. Duterte said he will comply with the quarantine and will continue to serve the people of Davao even in isolation.
Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte–Carpio, in her weekly radio program over the Davao City Disaster Radio (DCDR 87.5) wishes for her brother to get well soon.
“Congressman Paolo Duterte tested positive for COVID-19 this morning. I will call him and ask him whether he has symptoms of the virus. So, get well soon,” Mayor Sara said, referring to Rep. Duterte.
