Celebs claim Slater Young is 'Squid Game' lead star's lookalike

Netizens and some local stars think that Lee Jung-jae, lead actor of the South Korean survival drama "Squid Game," is a dead-ringer for Filipino celebrity Slater Young.

On Twitter, a netizen even wrote: "Di mo kami maloloko Slater Young," along with the photo of Lee.

Slater, on the other hand, quickly retweeted it.

"Guys, watch nyo naman my new series on Netflix (face with tears of joy emoji)," he quipped.

On Instagram, Slater shared a photo of him while watching the series featuring Lee.

"Thank you so much for supporting Squid Game! Trending tayo guys!"

His wife, social media influence Kryz Uy, reiterated: "Mas gwapo ka love."

Then actress Karel Marquez commented: "Haha! Hubby kept saying this 10x na kamukha mo when we binged watched yesterday - sabi na ikaw e!"

"Squid Game," written and directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, is a nine-episode series starring Lee Jung-jae, Park Hae-soo and Wi Ha-joon. The story revolves around a group of people who risk their lives in a mysterious survival game with a â‚©45.6 billion prize.
