Bongbong thanks KBL for endorsing him as its presidential bet

Former Senator Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Friday, Sept. 24 thanked the Kilusang Bagong Lipiunan (KBL) for supporting and endorsing him as its presidential candidate in the 2022 national elections.

Marcos said the basis for his endorsement could have been that he had stayed true to the ideals of the KBL that had been handed down by his father, the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos who founded KBL in 1973.

In his virtual message during the KBL convention in Binagonan, Rizal, Marcos said he has ‘’to continue to achieve that ideal to achieve that dream, to achieve that vision for our country.’’

Marcos said the set of ideology and aspirations for the Philippines set by his father is what the KBL continues ‘’to strive for, continues to work for and continues to exist for....’

‘’I thank all of you who have been with us all these year and have never left the fold of KBL,’’ he said, adding that he is overwhelmed by the statement of support given by the party.

‘’I have to continue to achieve that ideal, to achieve that dream, to achieve that vision for our country. The KBL has endured such hard times and we continue to see the work of KBL has done and the political involvement that KBL continues to have,’’ he stressed.

‘’I congratulate all of you who have kept the faith and have kept the fires burning and have reminded our people that these aspirations, these ideals, these visions we have for our country is important,’’ he added.
