No face-to-face classes in Bulacan -- Gov. Fernando

"Sana sa susunod na buwan maging okay na ang lahat. Subali't dahil nandiriyan pa rin ang virus araw at gabi, hindi ko papayagan ang face-to-face classes sa lalawigan ng Bulacan," (Hopefully next month, everything will be okay. But because the virus is still around, day and night, I will not allow the conduct of face-to-face classes in the province of Bulacan)," he said.

Fernando said the vaccine rollout continues to accelerate in the province. On Tuesday, September 21, 300 individuals were inoculated at the vaccination site in Hiyas ng Bulacan Pavilion Center in the City of Malolos and another 300 were vaccinated in the mountain town of Norzagaray, Bulacan.

He also witnessed the vaccination for senior citizens and those with comorbidities held at the covered court in Barangay Tigbe, Norzagaray headed by Mayor Alfredo Germar.

Fernando said that he and Board member Alexis Castro will once again visit the far-flung villages in the province of Bulacan to convince unvaccinated Bulakenyos to get their shots for their protection against COVID-19.
