After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the local government unit (LGU) immediately put the venue to good use by setting up a Vax on Wheels station for senior citizens and persons with disabilities in the area.

Over the past weeks, the LGU has been setting up mobile vaccination stations in various barangays, subdivisions, and churches to expedite its vaccination rollout.

Last week, Mayor Arman Dimaguila wrote to Health Secretary Francisco Duque to request an adequate amount of vaccines for the LGU's four vaccination sites and two mobile Vax on Wheels units.

Dimaguila assured Duque that the city government has enough storage facilities and trained personnel who can handle and manage the vaccines efficiently.
