Political activity is revving up with Senator Manny Pacquiao finally announcing his retirement from boxing to focus on the biggest fight of his life – an electoral slugfest for the Presidency in May 2022.
President Duterte launched another round of tirades aimed at Senate Blue Ribbon Committee Chairman Senator Richard Gordon, who he accused of using the probe on allegedly anomalous pandemic purchases by the government to advance his political ambitions.
Meanwhile, the Delta variant has become the “most common lineage” in the country for new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases, even as the OCTA Group also disclosed that reproduction number of the virus has gone down to 1.12.
