The Makati City local government has shut down another establishment on Tuesday for violating COVID-19 protocols.
In a Facebook post, the local government unit (LGU) said that the Makati Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) has closed down PRVT Resto-Bar for violating quarantine protocols, social distancing, and operating without a business permit.
The LGU added that the closure is part of the city's bid in restoring order and discipline in Makati and protect the interest of legitimate businesses, Makatizens, and the general public, especially amid the COVID-19 pandemic and the threat of its more contagious Delta variant.
The BPLO had also previously shut down another establishment, Altermale Exclusive, for violating the same protocols.
As of September 19, Makati has recorded 1,943 active COVID-19 cases, 37,115 recoveries, and 897 deaths.
