Grammy award-winning singer Adele made her relationship Instagram official in the chicest way possible. Through a post released on Sept. 19, 2021, the English songstress shared a photo of her with sports agent boyfriend Rich Paul.
While we are definitely happy about the “Hello” singer’s latest relationship status, what we cannot stop gushing about is the custom Schiaparelli piece she’s wearing. Adele donned a column dress in black wool crepe with draped rosette sleeves in white silk taffeta. Finishing the look is a pair of “tooth” earrings, all designed house’s artistic director, Daniel Roseberry.
The Texas-born fashion designer, who first worked for more than a decade at Thom Browne, became the house’s design leader in 2019. Since then, Daniel has made iconic fashion moments with celebrities like Lady Gaga with her Joe Biden inauguration look adorned with a symbolic Dove brooch and Bela Hadid’s lung dress at the Cannes. His latest creation for Adele is where Old Hollywood glamor meets his conceptual aesthetic: dreamy and elegant, sculptural yet full of delicate details.
“It is my great honor and my joy to pick up where Mme. Schiaparelli left off some 85 years ago. Schiaparelli was a master of the modern; her work reflected the chaos and hope of the turbulent era in which she lived,” he says. “Today, we find ourselves asking similarly big, identity-shaping questions of our own: What does art look like? What is identity? How do we dress for the end of the world?”
