ILOILO CITY — Cops have arrested a 29-year-old man believed to be one of the country’s most wanted persons in Dumarao town, Capiz province.
Jesery Gadia Gonzales, who is facing a murder charge, was arrested last September 16 in Agsirab village.
Gonzales is suspected of shooting and killing a schoolmate outside the Dumaro campus of Capiz State University last June 2014.
Gonzales was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Lorencito Diaz of the Regional Trial Court-Branch 16 in Roxas City.
Based on a memorandum of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Gonzales was listed as Top 4 most wanted person in the national level with a reward of P135,000.
Gonzales was arrested by combined forces of the Dumarao Municipal Police Station, the 63rd Special Action Company’s Special Action Battalion; the 2nd Capiz Provincial Mobile Force Company; the Intelligence Unit of the Capiz Provincial Police Office; the provincial intelligence team team of the Regional Intelligence Unit; and the 602nd Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion.
