The Parañaque City Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) issued notices to 10 business establishments found violating the guidelines implemented under the new quarantine alert system in the National Capital Region.
Mayor Edwin Olivarez said an inspection team from the BPLO headed by Atty. Melanie Soriano Malaya started visiting business establishments in the city on Thursday, Sept. 16, to determine if they are complying with the guidelines.
Olivarez said the BPLO team found 10 beauty salons and barbershops accepting customers beyond the 10% allowable capacity inside the establishments.
Malaya said customers of the erring salons and barbershops were told to go out.
She said the BPLO team will conduct monitoring and inspections everyday.
The BPLO chief added that those establishments issued with notices of violations will be closed once they are caught again defying the guidelines.
