The International Criminal Court (ICC) continues to be a thorn in the side of President Duterte.
This, as the prosecutor of the international body is set to begin the investigation on the alleged crimes related to extrajudicial killings committed in the Philippines under Duterte's controversial war against illegal drugs.
The ICC said the investigation will cover crimes allegedly committed between November 1, 2011, and March 2019.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque says President Duterte is unbothered by this development.
In fact, Duterte has been busy waging a new "war" as of late, this time against Philippine senators. His favorite punching bag to target has been Senator Richard Gordon, whom he called a "despot" and a "thief" in the latest episode of his "Talk to the People" public briefings.
