The municipality of Cainta, Rizal has administered a total of 92,896 vaccines to its residents as of September 10.
In a Facebook post, Cainta Mayor Johnielle Keith Nieto said out of the more than 92,000 jabs administered, 63,412 were for the first dose while 29,484 were for the second dose.
Nieto also said that out of the total number of jabs administered, 6,532 were given to medical frontliners; 29,398 to A2 (senior citizens); 24,870 to A3 category (persons with comorbidities), and 32,096 to A4 (frontline workers).
He added that the municipal government is looking for three volunteer doctors and three nurses who will become part of the vaccination rollout team of the municipal government.
“Should there be no volunteer takers, I will offer professional compensation just to address the need for additional manpower...” part of Nieto’s post showed.
The municipal government is set to administer the second dose of Sinovac and AstraZeneca vaccines at One Cainta Arena on Tuesday, September 14, to its target recipients or those who were sent a text message; while the second dose of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be given to target recipients at Cainta Elementary School, also on September 14, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
