“Kaya akung hindi pa po maliwanag, tatakbo po ako bilang deputado ng unang distrito ng Ilocos Norte (And to make it clear, I will be running as a representative of the First District of Ilocos Norte),” the younger Marcos said in his announcement Tuesday, September 14 in Sarrat, Ilocos Norte.

Sandro was accompanied by his father, Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. during the announcement.

Prior to entering politics, Sandro has been working in the office of the House Majority Floor Leader, Leyte 1st District Congressman Martin Romualdez who is also the young Marcos' uncle.
