Korean actor Park Seo-joon uploaded another photo from London, his flight destination when he left South Korea last Sept. 3 to film Marvel Studios’ “The Marvels” and one fan revealed her encounter with him in a restaurant.
“Morning,” posted Park Seo-joon on Instagram along with a selfie taken inside a hotel room. The photo has garnered 3.9 million likes as of writing.
This after he posted his first photo in London also on Sept. 10 with the caption “before sunset.” The photo showed the London skyline and has received 2 million likes so far.
On the other hand, one female fan revealed how she and her friends got to sit beside Park Seo-joon’s table in a restaurant in London.
Mahima Dsouza posted on TikTok, “Imagine eating dinner with Park Seo-joon. Only if this was dream.”
She said “Chris Lyon was also there with Park Seo-joon and his lovely manager. Guys I won’t be able to post any videos of him or Chris Lyon as I respect there privacy. They’re manger also told us not to post anything.”
Lyon appeared in the 2020 Korean drama “Itaewon Class” that starred Park Seo-joon and Kim Da-mi.
On Twitter, Dsouza posted, “I WAS THE GIRL WHO MET PARK SEO JOON IN LONDON GUYS #ParkSeoJoon.” and “I didn’t sleep for two days. I met him on Friday night .”
On TikTok, she posted a video showing her friend freaking out upon seeing Park Seo-joon, saying, “Met my husband. #ParkSeoJoon we couldn’t hold in anymore. When he left we had to cry our eyes out.”
“I hopefully post videos of him in few weeks times as I don’t want to exactly tell where and when I saw him. Just for him to be safe. Also we where not allowed to film. We stopped filming straight after when we where told,” added Dsouza.
When Park Seo-joon left for London last Sept. 3, his agency, Awesome Entertainment, confirmed that he will appear in a Marvel Studios movie.
“Park Seo Joon confirmed his appearance in the Marvel Studios movie and left the country this afternoon,” the agency said.
The agency added, “We would like to thank the many people who have shown interest and support for Park Seo-joon's new challenge. We are aware that many people are curious about the name of the work, the character, the filming location and the filming period. More information about the movie will be announced at a later date.”
An exclusive report by Korean media outlet Star News last June stated that Park Seo-joon was cast in “The Marvels” after getting an offer earlier this year to be in the film. His role in the film has not been revealed.
“The Marvels” is a sequel to “Captain Marvel” and will star Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani with Nia DaCosta as director. It will be released in theaters on Nov. 11, 2022.
The report added that Park Seo-joon will return to South Korea after filming “The Marvels” by the end of the year.
