LG Joins DepEd's Brigada Eskwela 2021

To help usher in the return of face-to-face classes for school, LG joins the Department of Education’s yearly Brigada Eskwela initiative. Brigada Eskwela, also known as National Schools Maintenance Week, is a yearly program where the school community, including members of the private sector, collaborate to prepare the start of the school year.

This return to school comes from almost a two-year absence due to the ongoing COVID pandemic. To help prepare the institution to open its doors to students again, LG donated hygiene kits to Rizal Experimental Station and Pilot School of Cottage Industries (RESPSCI). Almost 4,000 hygiene kits were given away. Sungjae Kim, LG Philippines Managing Director presented the donations to Kenneth Cantillo, Brigada Eskwela Coordinator, Michael Almario, BE-Resource Mobilization Committee Chairman, and Angeline Labit, BE-Resource Mobilization Committee Asst. Chairman in a short turnover ceremony.
