Makati City opens COVID-19 vaccination registration for minors

The Makati City local government announced on Friday that people aged 12 to 17 may now register for vaccination against COVID-19 and its more contagious Delta variant.

In a Facebook post, the LGU (local government unit) said that residents of Makati aged 12 to 17 could sign up for vaccination on the website proudmakatizen.com and added that a master list would be created for the vaccination of teenagers.

Registrants may click the category A4: Makati Resident, Non-Voter for teenagers.They were advised to wait for further details and updates regarding the vaccination registration on its official Facebook page.

According the LGU, 318,607 residents have received their first dose while 200,335 have been fully vaccinated in Makati City.

As of Sept. 10, the city has recorded 3,160 active COVID-19 cases, 33,408 recoveries, and 846 deaths.
