Rep. Vilma Santos-Recto tells son Lucky: 'Sana ako rin maka 1M subscribers'

Rep. Vilma Santos Recto sought the help of her son actor-television host Lucky Manzano for some star power on social media.

This after the YouTube Channel of Manzano "Lucky TV" reached one million followers today, Sept. 9.

"Maraming maraming salamat netizens na 1M subs na tayo!!! Sana napatawa at napasaya namin kayo sa LuckyTV kaya tuloy tuloy lang ang subscribe at nood sa LuckyTV!!" wrote Manzano on Facebook.

His mom Ate Vi was one of the early celebrities who congratulated him for his latest milestone.

The politician-actress wrote: "Help me anak!!! Saha ako rin maka 1M subscribers!"

Upon reading her comment, some netizens said that they would help Ate Vi reach her goal of 1 million followers on social media.

Other celebrities who congratulated Manzano were Filipino Olympian gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz, Alex Gonzaga and his wife Jessy Mendiola.

"Congratulations Lucky," wrote Diaz.

Manzano replied: Thank you Ma'm."

For several weeks now, Manzano and his wife Jessy have been staying with Ate Vi.

The mother-and-son team bonded by doing funny videos and interviews for different social media platforms.
