OWWA mourns death of ranking officer

The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) is mourning the death of one of its ranking officials.

In a statement, OWWA Administrator Hans Leo Cacdac said they confirmed the information that Deputy Administrator Faustino "Bubsie" Sabarez III died on Wednesday night, Sept. 8, at the Manila Doctor Hospital.

"With deep sorrow, I convey the unfortunate news that Deputy Administrator Sabarez passed away," said Cacdac.

"As one OWWA Family, let us please also include the family repose of his soul. Please also include the family of DA Bubsie in your thoughts and prayers," he added.
