Caloocan City halts afternoon vaccination due to typhoon ‘Jolina’


The local government of Caloocan City announced on Wednesday that all vaccinations scheduled in the afternoon of Wednesday, September 8, will be suspended due to inclement weather.

“Kanselado na ang panghapon na schedule ng bakunahan sa Caloocan (The afternoon vaccination schedule in Caloocan has been canceled),” it said.

“Hanggang 11:00 ng umaga lamang tatanggap ng mga babakunahan sa lahat ng ating vaccination sites (Vaccinations will only be accepted until 11:00 a.m. in all of our vaccination sites),” it added.

Individuals who were not able to go to the vaccination sites on their scheduled dates will be given a new schedule.

The city government said it will announce the re-scheduled appointments through Mayor Oca Malapitan’s Facebook page.
