Bacoor City breaks ground for new disaster resiliency building

CAVITE - The Bacoor Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (BDRRMO) will soon have a more modern, technology-driven and fully-equipped building.

Mayor Lani M. Revilla led the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Bacoor City Resiliency Building on Monday (September 6).

According to Revilla, the project is the city's way of empowering and expressing gratitude to its emergency workers who are always ready to respond to crises and put their lives at risk for the sake of the community.

"Today, we give the men and women of BDRRMO our love and appreciation, our prayers, that they are kept safe as they respond to emergency calls," Revilla said.

During the ceremony, the office of Senator Bong Revilla also turned over four ambulances, one fire truck, and one rescue vehicle to the city government to be used for emergency response.
