Three Korean nationals who went into hiding in the country were arrested by Central Luzon police armed with a warrant for deportation in Angeles City on Monday, September 6.
Colonel Rommel S. Batangan, Angeles City police director, said that after the court hearing of the 3 Korean nationals at the Regional Trial Court in Angeles City, Pampanga, joint operating units of CIDG CFU Angeles, CIDG PFU Pampanga, Korean Police, and BI-FSU immediately served the said warrant for Deportation against the suspects.
The arrested Korean nationals were identified as Park Seung Hoon, male, single, 39; Kwon yo Seob, male, single, 33, and Kim Ji Soo, male, 42, single, all residents of Forest Park Homes North, Brgy. Pampang, Angeles City.
Hoon, Seob, and Soo have a standing Warrant of Arrest No. 2021-9544 issued on July 31, 2021, by Busan District Court, Republic of Korea, and Mission Order No. JHM -2021- 081 issued under E.O. No. 287, s. 2000 by Jaime H Morente, Commissioner, Bureau of Immigration, Fugitive Search Unit, Manila, dated September 3, 2021.
PRO3 Regional Director B/General Valeriano T. De Leon said that message is very clear, Central Luzon is a not sanctuary for any fugitive or perpetrators whatever his or her nationality is.
