Four foreign drug traffickers were killed while more than P3 billion worth of shabu were seized in a drug bust in Candelaria town of Zambales at around noon on Tuesday, Sept. 7.
The confiscated 500 kilograms of shabu was the biggest drug haul this year in a single operation.
A police report reaching Camp Crame said the operation was conducted at around 11:30 a.m. when government anti-narcotics operatives managed to negotiate for the purchase of shabu.
The four Chinese died after they allegedly tried to fight it out with the police, military and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives in a bid to escape. They died on the spot.
