The tracklist of K-pop girl group BLACKPINK member Lisa’s debut solo album “Lalisa” has been revealed.
Lisa will release her first single album “Lalisa” at 1 p.m. KST (noon in the Philippines) on Sept. 10. The album contains two main songs: “Lalisa” and “Money.”
Participating as songwriters for “Lalisa” are YG Entertainment’s Teddy, American songwriter Bekuh Boom and 24. For “Money,” they are Bekuh Boom, Vince, 24 and R.Tee. Instrumental versions of the two songs are also in the album.
Lisa will perform “Lalisa” for the first time on the “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Sept. 10, the show announced on social media.
Before the release of the album, Lisa set a record by garnering 700,000 in pre-orders for “Lalisa” as of Aug. 30, or in just four days. This is the highest number of pre-order for a K-pop female solo artist ever.
An hour before the single album is released, Lisa will hold a countdown on Naver V Live at noon KST on Sept. 10.
The countdown will run for 50 minutes, according to YG Entertainment, wherein Lisa will talk about her album, answer fans’ questions and interact with them.
Fans are excited about Lisa’s solo album. She is the third member of BLACKPINK to have a solo music project after Jennie and Rosé.
“As the album title ‘Lalisa’ suggests, you will feel Lisa’s true and natural charms differentiated from her past activities. Please look forward to Lisa surpassing herself as it is a project that has been prepared for a long time with great effort,” YG Entertainment earlier said.
