A fire hit a part of the National Archives of the Philippines on UN Avenue in Manila early Sunday.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection-National Capital Region (BFP-NCR), the fire started on the sixth floor of the PPL Building on UN Avenue at 1:04 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 5.
The fire reached second alarm before it was declared fire out at 3:13 a.m.
Fire investigators placed the estimated damage to properties at P800,000.
No casualties were reported in the fire. Further investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
