Margielyn Didal is back on the ramp with a new fashion statement

She teamed up with an international fashion brand for her fresh look

A month had already passed when we last saw skateboarder Margielyn Didal in Tokyo Olympics skating her heart out while in a loose white shirt with three stripe sash bearing our flag’s colors and baggy orange pants matched with a backward blue baseball cap and her signature New Balance sneakers. This time, she’s back on the skate park not to compete but to flaunt her new street fashion style in collaboration with another international brand.

The Olympian teamed up with H&M and came up with a collection dubbed “The Skate Drop, Selected by Margielyn Didal." It consists of casual oversized t-shirts, relaxed-fit sweaters, loose monotone hoodies, cargo jogger pants, and accessories like caps and socks.

The line features minimal iconographies, including Sesame Street characters, which Margielyn sported in promotional materials on social media.

Grabbing them is a perfect way to embrace the skateboarder fashion style. Something more is in store when you spend a minimum of P995 from the collection at men’s itemsa limited-edition skateboard signed by Margielyn herself.

In her latest post on Facebook and Instagram, Margielyn shared that she never imagined being part of a major campaign for the fashion giant, where she used to shop in Cebu. “Now my pic is on the window and The Skate Drop - a collection selected by me is on the racks. How sick is that!” she said.

“So everyone out there who dreams big, they do happen,” the Cebuana prodigy added.

During Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Margielyn got the seventh overall spot in the women’s street event. Despite that, she won the hearts of many sports fans all over the world with her contagious smile and charming personality.
