‘Maraming nangangailangan’: CSC calls on heads of agencies to post vacancies for online job fair set on Sept. 20-24

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) asked Wednesday, Aug. 25, all heads of the government agencies to register and post vacancies for the Government Online Career Fair (GOCF) to be held on Sept. 20 to 24, 2021 as part of this year’s 121st Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA).

CSC Commissioner Aileen Lourdes Lizada made the call, as the 72 agencies have so far registered, 43 of which have yet to complete their requirements.

“To all Heads of Agencies, please open up your vacancies and publish the positions. Dami pong naghahanap ng trabaho, maraming nangangailangan. (Many are looking for jobs, many are in need),” she said in a Viber message.

Citing the report of the CSC’s Examination, Recruitment and Placement Office ( ERPO), she said a total of 2,169 government jobs were up for grabs.

“There are 72 registrants (agencies) right now, with 43 still for confirmation ( which means they have yet to complete their requirements). We now have 2,169 vacant positions posted,” read the ERPO report.

The CSC’s ERPO is inviting its partner agencies to participate in the GOCF in partnership with Jobstreet.

“Let us help you facilitate the recruitment of talented and well qualified people for your vacant positions,” it said.
