"Ang pagkakaalam ko September 1 ang rollout. In fact ang nangyayari, lahat ng data namin ng bakuna ng LGUs ng metro ay siguro 90 percent na na-upload na namin sa kanila (From what I know, September 1 will be the rollout. In fact, local government units in Metro Manila have already uploaded about 90 percent of their data to the Department of Information and Communications Technology)," Abalos said in a DZBB interview.

Abalos was talking about the submission of vaccination data from the cities to the Vaccine Information Management System of the DICT, the lead agency in the issuance of vaccination ID.

According to Abalos, one can claim his vaccination ID by registering to a mobile application where he will be forwarded to an operator for the verification of his data prior to the releasing of the ID.

Meanwhile, Abalos also reminded residents, who will be seeking vaccination from cities outside their residence, to bring a valid ID when going to the vaccination site to verify that they are not there for a booster shot.

Similar to the usual pre-vaccination process, they will have to register to the available cities through their respective registration online sites to get a schedule. There will be no walk-ins, Abalos said.

Prior to vaccination, they will be asked to sign a document declaring that they have not yet received any vaccine against COVID-19.

"Bawal na bawal yung booster, ipapakulong namin kayo (Getting a booster is strictly prohibited, we will put you to jail)," Abalos warned.

The MMDA chief reiterated that vaccinators, vaccininees, and facilitators, who are found to be responsible for administering or getting booster shots for COVID-19, will be held accountable, based on existing laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.
