The baby daughter of action star Jeric Raval has fully bloomed.
“For the longest time, it was very difficult to live under the shadow of my father. I am literally carrying his name because AJ stands for 'Anak ni Jeric.' If I make a mistake, it will reflect on him. Any wrong decision I do will be a reflection on how he raised me. But as I was getting bigger breaks in Viva, he learned to let go and made me create my own destiny," AJ tells us during the press conference of the movie "Taya."
Personally, I am glad that AJ’s father has finally come to terms that his daughter is destined to be the newest Erotica Queen of Philippine Movies. I remember AJ telling us that her father would not talk to her during the press con of “Paglaki ko Gusto ko Maging Pornstar” where she was launched as the newest and youngest sexy star of VivaMax. The action star could not come to terms that she chose the sexy star path to stardom. But it was AJ’s destiny. It started with some nipple exposure underneath a magic white kamison “Paglaki ko Gusto ko Maging Pornstar”. Then it became fiercer in her love scenes with Diego Loyzaga in 'Death of a Girlfriend' and she sizzled so hot as Lilet in 'Nerissa.' "
But in this movie “Taya,” her performance is so outstanding that her director in this film, Direk Roman Perez has dubbed her as the new Queen of Erotica Movies in the Philippines. “Iba talaga si AJ. Siya na talaga ang Queen! Ang maganda sa kanya, she guides the new sexy actresses Jela Cuenca, and Angeli Khang instead of competing with them. She has no diva attitude or hesitations when I direct her. I know she’s too young to be called Queen, but she deserves the title.”
