Yes, Robredo has one--simply titled The Leni Robredo Podcast--the first episode of which dropped at past 6 p.m. Monday night, August 23 on Spotify. She wasted no time in introducing Gonzalez, whom she shares a few things in common with.

"Bagong-bago ako dito (I'm very new here). I know you have been having your podcast for quite some time already, ako bago pa lang (I'm still new,. So I'm very happy that you'll be my first ever guest," Robredo said of Gonzalez, who like her solely have daughters for children.

"Of course! First of all ma'am, thank you for having me," said the 38-year-old Gonzalez, who is married to former professional basketball player JC Intal.

"When I found out na (that I was the) buena mano (first) guest, I was so kilig (I had 'butterflies')! But also congratulations! Welcome to the podcasting world!" she told the Vice President and opposition leader.

"I'm a big podcast listener talaga (really). I'm looking forward to hearing you, from you. Not from an article written about you, or what other people said about you; what you like, who you are, from you mismo (yourself)," Gonzalez said.

Robredo, 56, candidly said that she chose to have a podcast so that she'll "be able to reach the generations of my daughters".

Robredo has three daughters: Aika, who is 33; Tricia, 27; and Jillian, 21.

"For so long, so many people have been asking me to do a podcast of my own, lalo dito sa office (especially here in the office) because a lot of our staff are very young people and sinasabi nila, para naman makausap mo yung mga age group namin (they told me, you should do it so that you'll be able to talk with those from our age group)," she shared.
